International Nurses Week Celebration (11th – 14th May 2026)
The Nurses Week celebration was organized with the objective of fostering leadership, teamwork, discipline, creativity, unity, and professional values among students, faculty, and staff.
Pre-Event Activities
A spirited Cricket Tournament was conducted on 9th and 10th May 2026 at the SDM Medical College Ground, promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm among participants.
Day 1 – 11th May 2026 (Inauguration Day)
The inaugural ceremony marked the formal commencement of Nurses Week celebrations. The programme was coordinated by faculty and student organizers under the guidance of the SNA Unit.
The event was graced by the Chief Guest Mrs. Manjula K. B., Nursing Superintendent, SDM College of Medical Sciences & Hospital, along with dignitaries, faculty members, staff, and students.

The International Nurses Day Celebration was organized from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM with great dignity and enthusiasm.
Programme Highlights:
The event commenced with an invocation song followed by a formal welcome address delivered by Dr. Nagesh V. Ajjawadimath, who welcomed all dignitaries, faculty members, staff, and students.
