About Our Department

The Department of Child Health Nursing is responsible to comprehend teaching and learning within the framework of the curriculum of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University. Faculty at the department being well trained have vast experience are devoted in creating self-directed teaching-learning environment to the students with the privilege to utilize to its full extent the fully equipped Laboratory and advanced, high fidelity simulators to enable students to develop high level of competency, skills and acquisition of knowledge, thus imparting the scope of practice in the specialized field of child health nursing integrating theory, practice and research into evidence.

To deepen the insight of knowledge the department observes and organizes programs to create awareness on child health in various teaching, learning modalities.
