To overcome the acute shortage and proper utilization of competent, efficient nursing work force the one calendar year duration bridge course has been introduced under the ambient of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University to provide hands on training to the candidates regarding the activities of daily living. They will be utilized to provide basic bed-side nursing care under the supervision of trained nurses and also assist them in carrying out other nursing related activities.

- Nurse graduated from this Institute has an ample opportunity to work as a bedside Nurse
- Must have passed SSLC with 45% aggregate from recognized State Board
- Minimum age is 16 years and Maximum age is 35 years as on 31.12 of the year in which admission is sought
- Must be medically fit

- Applications will be scrutinized as per the eligibility criteria given by the apex body (qualifying examination)
- Merit list will be prepared and accordingly final list is displayed
