Legal Awareness Program for Female Students and Staff

As per the directive of the Karnataka State Higher Education Council (KSHEC), SDMINS organized a Legal Awareness Program on 10th June 2025 to empower women with knowledge about their legal rights and protections under the Indian legal framework.

The session was held at Ishavasyam Auditorium and was attended by a large number of female students, teaching, and non-teaching staff.

Resource Person:

Mrs. Priyadarshini, Legal Advisor, SDM University, served as the expert speaker. She delivered an insightful session on the theme “Legal Awareness for Women: Know Your Rights”, addressing essential legal topics such as:

• Cybercrime and digital safety
• Legal remedies available under Indian law
• Access to free legal services
