To propagate the Theme: "100 Years of Progress" and to arose interest in acquiring the knowledge among nursing students International Midwifery day was celebrated on 5th May 2022 by Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing, SDM Institute of Nursing Sciences.
The following activities were planned and executed:
The competitions were held from 10 am to 12 pm on 2nd May 2022. Totally of 30 participants were enrolled for competition in which 16 participants had participated for essay competition and 14 participants had participated for drawing competition. The judges of respective competitions declared the results on the day of celebration.
The programme was initiated with inaugural ceremony at 2 pm followed by guest lecture on the importance of International Midwifery Day was given by the expert, Dr. Asha Neravi mam, HOD Associate professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, SDMMC&H. The program was completed by prizes distribution for essay and drawing competition and with a valedictory note.
